Charles' acting, singing and music debut can be traced back to his childhood in 1952 at Fannie L. Bourbar Elementary School and at Pennsylvannia AME Zion Church in Baltimore, Maryland. His class under the direction of Mr. Arnett Brown (teacher) had the class present the life and history of John Henry the Steel Driving Man in the puppet show. The class spent several weeks preparing for this stage show. Charles played the part of the preacher man. "The Review was a smashing success....to say the least". Charles continued to act in school plays and blew his trumpet in the school marching band and orchestra in Booker T. Washington Junior High School and Baltimore City College. The famous saxophonist Gary Barts rose from these ranks. Charles had a little trio that played out of the Music Union Hall on Howard Street in B-More in 1955. The Swan Film Institute presented by Swan and Associates.

Swan, KHS The Religious and Military Order Knights of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem was baptised and raised n Pennslyvannia AME Zion Church in Baltimore and Idlewild Baptise Church in Tampa. Florida. He was raised and educated in Baltimore, MD. He excelled in all of his life pursuits, skipping most of his grades in public schools pursuing music, foreign languages, science and medicine. He attended Baltimore City College, Morgan State University-Vice President, Ohio Christian College (Doctorate), University of Texas Health Science Center, at Houston Texas. (Post Doctorate) He has been honored as a Under-Secretary of the United Nation, Presidential Policy Advisor, Deputy States Program Commissioner, U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, an Executive Director of Neighborhood Services and a Private Practice, Swan and Associates, PA. At Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, as a Clinical Internal, he was awarded the Silver Key Award from the National Association for Mental Health, Jessups, Maryland. Dr. Charles W. Swan has been honored with the Medal of Freedom and the Legion of Merit Award.
The Eternal Flame of Freedom is burning two blocks from our nation's Capitol listing Dr. Charles W. Swan therein, he has been granted a United States Senate Senatorial Commission, is a member of Marquis's Who's Who in America, Science, Medicine, and the World. He was also nominated Time Magazine Person of the Century. Dear Rt. Ex. Chev. Matthew Haines, G.Cd.H.S., H.G.H.S.:

I have known Dr. Swan for approximately 3 years. We first met at a family reunion in ......, a city in where I was teaching at a University.

Dr. Swan later invited me to his residence to view some theoretical papers I had written dealing with culture, health, and systems analyses. My statistical theory for using systems analyses to evaluate health outcomes on a cultural basis was an area of his intellectual and professional interest.

Concerning my work, he was very affirming and supportive in its international potential. Charles was always willing to engage in discussion with me when I called. He was friendly, but to the point. He was instructive, but truthful and loyal. Having been recently appraised of the scope of his background I must admit that I find it an honor that such a rare individual with such an extensive profile would take the time to read, to critique and to continually maintain contact while conducting such a busy, pressing agenda.

When I think of a gentleman, I think of courtesy, stamina, a willingness to be forthright with the truth, politeness, helpful and assisting. When I think of a gentleman I think of Charles and his noble qualities of honor, respect, courage, loyalty and willingness to serve as a dedicated scholar and mentor. When I think of character, I think of the various dialogs we have engaged in over a period of time that focused on my professional development as a research scientist. Today they have left me with an appreciation for him as a regal man of quest, a man of challenge and service.

I have attempted to provide to you some guidance to a most remarkable character. And I am sure this only begins to tell the story of his passion for exactitude, bottomless curiosity for scientific understanding and inquiry. I believe that once you meet Charles you too will see what caliber of man he is, and will find all that I have described and perhaps another realm of talents yet unrevealed to me.

panic, frustration, depression, and hate can have negative effects on humans health. Laughter, love, will to live, purpose, faith, and festivity can help combat disease.

Robert Ader,

of Rochester University, coined the term psychoneuroimmunology-immunology in the early eighties described the interactions between the brain, the endocrine system, and the immune system. The body in effect can manufacturer its own poisons when under siege by negative emotions, especially protracted frustration. Different cells in the immune system do different things. Sentry cell roam throughout the body, locating and identifying intruders or abnormal situations, and then summoning the body's own defenders-cells that can pry open malignant cells and inject the body's own poisons, cells that can destroy infection agents, cells that can even arrest viruses and summon reinforcements. The immune system can be affected by biochemical changes in the body by an invasion of microorganisms, by toxicity, by hormonal forces, by emotions, by behavior, by diet or by all.

The authors show that monoamine processing is altered and monoamine oxidase. Negative Behavior during Marital Conflict is Associated with Immunological Down-Regulation, Department of Psychiatry, Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus OH Although Increase morbidity and mortality have been reliably associated with social isolation and less satisfying personal relationships, relative little is known about the underlying biopsychosocial mechanisms. We assessed problem-solving behaviors and changes in the immune function in 90 newly couples who were admitted to a hospital research unit for 24 hours. Subjects who exhibited more negative or hostile behaviors during a 30 minute discussion of the marital problems showed greater decrements over 24 hours relative low negative subjects on four functional immunologica! assay (natural killer cell lysis, blastogenie response to two mitogens, and the proliferative response to a monoclonal antibody to the T3 receptor), as well as larger increases in the in the numbers of total T lymphocytes and helper T lymphocytes. High negative subjects had higher antibody titters to latent Epstein-Barr virus than low negative subjects, consistent with down-regulated immune function. Women were more likely to show problems also led to larger increases in blood pressure that remained elevated longer in high negative subjects than low negative subjects. Positive or supportive problem solving behaviors were not restated to either immunological or blood pressures changes. These physiological differences were particularly noteworthy because marital satisfaction was high in both groups, and couples had been selected on the basis of stringent mental and physical health criteria. These data provide additional support for the link between personal relationships and the immune function-

Genius was not an inherited quality. OPUS Majus Written in 1928
Virtue clarifies the mind so that man may comprehend more
easily not only moral but scientific truths. Innocency of the soul have gain greater
proficiency. Vituous activity is not sufficient for genius. It is enough to understand the laws of nature that are already discovered and for an experiential conprehension of the known world, but not yet a genius.
Two further qualities are necessary to leap the gap from intelligence to genius: .Creativity - the discovery of new laws- a special revelation -fundamental insight given to those worthy of it by God .the application of this process of discovery to transform the world
to benefit all
.God ordained that the revelation should be given the world so that the human
race may be saved
.God is the intelligence active in all our souls in all cognition
.Person of genius apply their search for wisdom to solving the immediate crisis
of human civilization, harnessing to this end those principles in accord with
natural law for all eternity. Thus does true genius assure its own immortality
.Lastly the final ingredient for genius is humility-the learned ignorance. If
man lived through infinite ages in the perfect in this mental state he would
never arrive with certainty at the perfection of wisdom in the multitude of
things knowledgeable

The first three Medal of Freedom awards were granted to President Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Charlton Heston. The Medal of Freedom Announced February 19, 1994, Ceremony held in Washington, D.C. May 10-11 1994. Swan awarded the Presidential Legion of Merit, Ronald Wilson Reagan Eternal Flame of Freedom Medal, The Victory Monument, located several blocks from the Capitol. Swan' name was inscribed October 10, 1995. Other honors include the Presidential Round Table, The Order of Merit, The Senatorial Inner Circle, President's Task Force, The Majority Medal, Chairman's Advisory Board, A Senatorial Commission, President's Club, National Leadership Team, Presidental Policy Advisor.
